Cortek Software along with Gamble and Associates installed a DCX system at NBC for evaluation.  This system was used on the NBC Special Live From NY on Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999.  Very valuable lessons were learned from this live show and we have incorporated new ideas from this experience into our latest product.  Live in-the-trenches experience like this helps CorTek produce the industries finest live-sound product.  CorTek Software will continue its dedication to designing a system that is powerful and flexible for all LIVE venues.

Cortek Software partnered with Gamble and Associates to demonstrate the unique capabilities of the VACS/DCX mixer combination at the September AES convention in San Francisco.  On display with the system were dual screen, flat-panel monitors with touch screen control, that give the user a wide view of the mixer control surface. Another big hit at the booth was wireless control of the mixer from a laptop computer.  Many people stopped by so that they could experience the advantage of being in the mix.

Recently, Cortek Software visited Gamble Associates at Elevation, a Lake Tahoe nightclub, to demonstrate the VACS software on the Gamble DCX Event mixing console.

The Gamble DCX mixer (Digitally Controlled Mixer), featuring Cortek's control software, received the most innovative new product award at the April NSCA convention in Las Vegas.

Gamble Consoles has released a new series of consoles called DCX (Digitally Controlled Mixer).

Cortek's VACS software made it's industry debut, April 6th at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas.
