DCX Takes Honors at the NSCA Convention in Las Vegas

The Gamble DCX mixer (Digitally Controlled Mixer), featuring Cortek's control software, received the most innovative new product award at the April NSCA convention in Las Vegas. The system will be featured in an up-coming article in a respected trade magazine.

Gamble Bows DCX Mixer

Gamble Consoles has released a new series of consoles called DCX (Digitally Controlled Mixer).

These new consoles have over 12,000 virtual on-screen controls including (up to) eight stereo (16 mono) subgroups, 16 stereo (32 mono) auxes, eight stereo (16 mono) matrix, dual independent stereo cue systems, dual mic and line inputs (A and B) for 240 total inputs (DCX Event), 4-band, full-parametric EQ with on-screen EQ curve display, studio quality gates and compressors on every input, stereo parametric EQ on each matrix, standard panning and true LCR panning with pan depth and up to 216 on-screen VU meters.
     The standard console configurations are as follows: DCX Event (79 modules), DCX Showtime (39 modules), DCX Cabaret (19 modules).  Custom console configurations are available.

CorTek's VACS Software Debuts at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas

Cortek's VACS software made it's industry debut, April 6th at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas.   CorTek’s premier product, the Virtual Audio Console System or VACS, is an innovative new approach to the control of professional audio systems, that allows control of the device across a computer network.  CorTek applied the first generation of the Virtual Audio Console System (VACS) to the Gamble DCX professional mixer, a high-end modular multichannel mixer system.
     The DCX system was on display in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, where it drew the interest of Network executives and professional audio tour managers.
