Cortek Software and Gamble Associates held a 2-day demonstration at Elevation, a Lake Tahoe nightclub, to demonstrate the awesome power of the VACS software and the Gamble DCX mixing console. In a flawless showing, a DCX Event system was controlled simultaneously by a network connected PC and a wireless laptop computer. The DCX system's computerized displays drew the attention of the packed house, as well as astonished stares from audio engineers on hand at the event. The shows were attended by Mark Frink of Mix Magazine who operated the DCX console during the shows. Mark's article about the Gamble DCX appears in the October issue of Mix Magazine.
